Videoconferencing (S12 T5)

This presentation will describe NCAL's partnership with the PBS Adult Learning Service in the creation and delivery of videconferences for the adult education field. Jen Elmore will discuss the value of videoconferencing as a staff development tool. She will address the development process, including: the selection of videoconference topics; the rationale supporting program format; the choice of panelists; the collection of case studies and other illustrative examples; and the inclusion of the viewing audience. She will review videoconferences offered in recent years and share audience feedback from these programs. Finally, she will lead a discussion with SLTP participants regarding the potential uses of this medium in their respective countries.
