International Literacy Explorer Workshop (S26 T9)

This workshop will explore the potential of new technologies in delivering staff development by working with the ILI's new product, the International Literacy Explorer (ILE), a multimedia tool for examining literacy programming solutions around the world. Participants will have the opportunity to review the ILE project through a work-in-progress website. Participants will fulfill the role of focus groups of international literacy stakeholders­practitioners, researchers and policy-makers­as they view the "best practices" of a variety of international literacy programs and interact with the special "statistics learning" tool.
